A handsome colonial structure dating back to 1894, the Inn has a lovely living room with fireplace and conversation areas. Off the living room are the fully licensed Cocktail Bar with original tin ceiling, the Chart Room and our Fine Dining Restaurant with outdoor deck, all of which are open to the public for dinner, Tuesday thru Sunday 6pm-9pm. Reservations requested. The Inn has been recently renovated and we welcome visitors to our seven guest bedrooms and two suites featuring fireplaces, cable TV, DVD, Video and whirlpool baths. We also have an in-house Massage Service which is open to both residents and the public.

The town of Wilmington emerged in the mid 1700’s as a small settlement formed when early settlers built grist mills along the Deerfield River. Just west of Wilmington is Lake Whitingham (also known as Harriman Reservoir), where divers can explore the old foundations of the “drowned ” town of Mountain Mills. A small paddle wheel tour ship cruises the lake during the summer months. The town of Wilmington Vermont in Windham County is the gateway to the popular Mount Snow – Haystack – Stratton ski and summer recreation area. This picturesque New England village is a collection of small shops, inns, restaurants, and historic buildings. Wilmington centers on the crossroads of Rt. 9 and 100. The scenic Vermont Route 100 travels through Wilmington to the region’s ski areas. Mount Snow Ski Resort has had a tremendous impact on this Vermont town. The entire Wilmington, West Dover, Wardsboro and Stratton area is popular with vacationers year round. Many Vermont vacation rentals are available in this area. The Deerfield Valley region is also home to many outstanding, locally owned and operated Vermont Inns and Bed & Breakfasts. Mount Snow and nearby Stratton Mountain resorts have played a large role in transforming this mountainous region of Vermont into a four season tourist destination.
