Saskadena Six was known as Hill Number 6. That was back in 1936 when Wallace “Bunny” Bertram opened the first ski lift on this hill. Suicide Six Ski Area is also where Snowboarding began.

Saskadena Six Ski Area is a nice, friendly, and inexpensive mountain for family skiing. The base elevation is 550′ with a 650′ vertical drop and 30% novice trails, 40% intermediate trails, and 30% advanced trails.
Saskadena is convenient to many outstanding lodging accommodations in the nearby towns of Woodstock and Quechee.
Getting There: Take I-91 to Vermont Exit 9, take US 5 north to Route 12 to Route 4 west to Woodstock. Suicide Six ski area is 3 miles north of Woodstock.
