Discover Jazz Festival
Enjoy jazz, blues, Latin, swing, zydeco, worldbeat, reggae, gospel, and more in downtown Burlington – in association with Burlington City Arts, produced by the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts. This is a 10-day celebration of music. One of Vermont’s largest multicultural events, the Discover Jazz Festival kicks off summer with many days of concerts, dances, jams, street parties, cruises, and workshops featuring world-renowned musicians, Vermont’s finest artists, and hundreds of students from around the state. Listen to world-class music amid sweeping vistas, on starlit cruises, and in intimate venues. See the sunset over Lake Champlain and groove to jazz echoing off the Green Mountains onto every street corner of the Champlain Valley.
Stowe Vermont Events
The Stowe Area Chamber of Commerce is called Go Stowe and they produce and promote a wide range of popular annual Stowe events. From Car Shows to Art Celebrations and more. Stowe, VT is a popular Vermont vacation destination. Stowe events are held during every season but most of the busiest Stowe VT events take place during summer and fall.
Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show
The Vermont Summer Festival features six weeks of hunter and jumper series equestrian jumping competitions. This annual Vermont equestrian event offers an opportunity to witness one of the world’s premier equestrian competitions and horse shows. For details about the festival follow the links below. Shows include the Manchester Classic Horse Show, Valley Classic Horse Show, Manchester and the Mountains, and Vermont Summer Celebration. Walking, trotting, cantering, or jumping. The Vermont Summer Festival is sponsored by the US Equestrian Federation, the US Equestrian Team, and other horse-loving organizations. The Vermont Summer Festival is held at one of the largest Grand Prix fields in the United States – Harold Beebe Farm. Competitions are available for all ages and abilities. There is an excellent selection of Manchester area hotels and inns available.
Quechee Hot Air Balloon Festival
With morning and evening balloon launches, evening glows, and the opportunity to go on a balloon ride, the Quechee Hot Air Balloon Festival has been drawing enthusiasts for over 30 years. This event offers over 60 vendors, a kids’ zone, volleyball tournaments, and live performances, as well as some remarkable photo opportunities. Reserve your local hotel or inn in advance.
