The Mt. Mansfield Auto Road is also known as the Stowe Toll Road. This historic road winds its way to the summit of Mt. Mansfield. There are stunning views of the Lake Champlain Valley and the Adirondack Mountains. The Stowe Toll Road operates seasonally – usually closing mid December and re-opening just before July 4th weekend. The Mt. Mansfield Auto Road is a private road and admission is charged. The fee is around $25 per vehicle at last check.
