Roots Festival Grounds
The Roots on the River Festival is a live music festival in Bellows Falls. Roots on the River began in 1999 and has grown to become one of the major music events of the year. The Roots on the River Festival is held in and around Bellows Falls, Vermont. The four festival of live music includes contemporary folk and acoustic music, talented singers and songwriters. The Roots on the River Festival is produced by Vermont Festivals LLC. Admission is charged. Festival Tickets are available at local merchants in Bellows Fall and Chester, VT. A four-day pass and daily tickets may be purchased at the Gate. Vermont Festivals presents 5-6 shows annually at the 220 year old Rockingham Meeting House. The Rockingham Meeting House – a beautiful building that is a National Historic Landmark built in the late 1700’s. Seating capacity is 300. The Rockingham Meeting House is located on Meeting House Road, just off VT Rte. 103, a half-mile west of Interstate 91 Exit 6S and one mile west of Interstate 91 Exit 6N.
