VOGA – VT Outdoor Guides
VOGA is how most people refer to the Vermont Outdoor Guide Association. This Vermont non-profit was organized in 1996 as a nonprofit 501-C6 organization of recreation-based professionals and support organizations. VOGA is run by staff, and volunteers and assisted by grants from state departments, the state legislature, and several other organizations. VOGA membership has grown to nearly 200 businesses. Vermont Adventure Tours offers half and full day cross-country mountain bike tours through-out central Vermont. Tours are for all ability levels, beginner to expert. We also offer mountain bike skill clinics. Each tour can be customized to fit your desires and to give you a great experience while you are with us. Riding skills, bike handling, exposure to various terrain surfaces, trail etiquette, and environmental impacts are all issues and topics you will learn.

VOGA advocates for outdoor professionals regarding access to private and public lands, improved risk management, and insurance policies. VOGA assists in the marketing of members’ services and products by lobbying the Vermont legislature and serving on numerous planning committees and councils.
VOGA members must agree to the organization’s Code of Ethics. Members vary from small business owners to resorts. Member categories include; Outdoor Educators, Guide Services, Sporting Goods Retail Shops, Rental Services, Outdoor Gear Manufactures, Recreation Based Lodging, and outdoor activities Support Services.
VOGA members have exclusive access to benefits that can impact positively their efficiency and profitability.
