Williston, Vermont was settled by a close friend of Ethan Allen, Thomas Chittenden, for whom the county of Chittenden was named. Williston is home to numerous wholesale merchants and manufacturers, such as Eastern Bearings, Inc., C.B. Sullivan Co., Office Environments, Inc., F.W. Webb Company, Pike Industries, New England Air Systems, United Heating & Ventilating and more... Williston is also home to the Williston Observer weekly newspaper.
