The town of Pittsford Vermont is located on Route 7 just north of Rutland. The unusual geographical formations known as the Pittsord Ice Caves are located here. Hamlets include; Grangerville and Florence, Vermont.
Pittsford's place in U.S. History was secured by local farmer Samuel Hopkins who was issued the first U.S. Patent in 1790.
