Newark, Vermont is a picturesque farming community in the Northeast Kingdom region of Northeastern Vermont. The town was once known for the large number of mineral springs that were found here.

Newark is home to several fine trout ponds; Newark Pond, Bald Hill Pond, Center Pond, and the Bald Mountain Fish Hatchery. The Newark Balkan Childrens' Orchestra has performed on national TV and in well-known venues. There are views of Burke Mountain and Bald Hill from many of the higher elevations of Newark.
