Jericho, Vermont was once home to Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley, the world-renowned Snow Crystal photographer credited with discovering that all snowflakes have six points.
Located just east of Vermont's largest city of Burlington, Jericho is home to manufacturers such as Snowflake Chocolates, Blue Mountain Spring Water, Epoxy Systems, and Green Mountain Chipping, to name a few.

Five Vermont ski areas are located within 40 miles of Jericho; Smugglers' Notch Ski Area, Sugarbush Ski Resort, Mad River Glen Ski Area, Stowe Mountain Resort , and the recently renovated Bolton Valley Ski Resort.
