The site of Caspian Lake in this northern Vermont town attracts tourists in search of quiet relaxation and scenic beauty. Located in Vermont's "Northeast Kingdom", Greensboro has several popular cross-country skiing areas, excellent fishing, and several fine area inns. Greensboro, Vermont was chartered August 20, 1781.

Greensboro is approximately a 30 minute drive to Stowe, St. Johnsbury, or Newport. Greensboro Bend is just east of Greensboro and was named for "bend" in the railroad tracks that separate the towns. Include a visit to Greensboro to capture rural scenes of Vermont, a  photographers delight!
