Many of the nation's top skiers attended the Burke Mountain Academy, also located on Burke Mountain. Burke Mountain Academy is a private high school known for it's superb skiing curriculum.
Burke is popular four-season destination area - primarily due to two fine inns - The Inn at Mountain View Farm and The Wildflower Inn. Both are located in East Burke.
