Brownsville is an unincorporated village that is part of West Windsor, Vermont. The Ascutney Mountain Resort is one of the major ski areas in the state and located in Brownsville. There are some historical covered bridges nearby, including the Brownsville Bridge. While slightly south of Brownsville is the Little Ascutney Wildlife Management Area, a state run conservation area which houses wildlife.
