Bridgewater is located just west of the resort village of Woodstock, Vermont, and is the home of one of Vermont's finest scholars, Zadock Thompson. The town is comprised of Bridgewater, Bridgewater Corners, West Bridgewater, and Bridgewater Center - also know by locals as 'Briggs'.
