Stratton Mountain Ski Resort is located near Manchester, Vermont in the Village of Bondsville, and offers 35% novice trails, 37% intermediate trails, and 28% advanced trails. |
Stratton Mountain is known as the birthplace of snowboarding, where Jake Burton first invented and used a snowboard. The U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships are held here each winter, as well as weekly Border Cross Races.
Getting There: Take 1-91 to Vermont exit 2 (Brattleboro), then Route 30 north to Bondville. Stratton ski resort is 4 miles from Bondville, 139 miles from Boston, 165 miles from Montreal and 235 miles from New York City.
