With a base area elevation of 2,035 feet -one of the highest in the Northeast - and with a total vertical of 1,704 feet, Bolton Valley continues to offer excellent downhill skiing, cross country skiing and snowboarding, as well as ski and snowboard school programs.
Mountain facilities include 62 downhill trails with snowmaking on 60% of them, four double chair lifts, one quad chair lift, plus one surface lift. In addition, Bolton Valley has over 35 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails, plus another 65 kilometers of ungroomed cross-country trails. Surrounded by 580 acres, Bolton Valley's trail network is connected to Stowe's Trapp Family Lodge trail system, which one can take all the way to the Long Trail. Weekly, guided tours are also available.

The new Bolton Adventure Center is now OPEN! The Bolton Adventure Center (BAC) offers school, non-profit, special-interest groups, and corporate educational teambuilding in a recreational environment. The new ropes course is the latest in challenge course technology, offering a beautiful design hidden gracefully within the surrounding natural environment. The challenge course consists of both low elements for team challenge and high elements for individual accomplishments.
Getting There: From the south, take I-91 or I-93 to I-89 Exit 10, then Route 2 West for 8 miles to the resort access road. Bolton Valley ski area is 20 miles east of Burlington and 20 miles south of Montpelier, Vermont.
