Christmas In Our Hearts

Let us keep Christmas in our hearts

With memories of days done by,

Of carol-singing, wrapping gifts,

Dodging mistletoe hung high.

Let us remember happy smiles

When expectations flare,

And children tiptoeing

Quietly down the stairs

Whispering of dreams and wishes

Giving imaginations quite a try.

Peeking round a corner

To see if Santa had come by.

Let us remember Christmas trees,

Lights sparkling ever bright

And a candle in the window

To lead us safely home at night.

Memories live forever,

And when Christmas time is near

We'll keep Christmas in our hearts

With every passing year.

Let us cherish the season!
