The Clock
Ticking away the time of day the clock ticks on in a melancholy way;
Minutes like hours going so slow... only twenty more minutes to go.
Every so slowly the hands go 'round,bringing you closer with each ticking sound.
Now only ten minutes,
I hope they go fast,
until finally, at last,
I am with you.
