Originally a farmstead, the Mountain Top Inn and Resort, was a popular resort in the 1950's when President Dwight Eisenhower frequented the inn and enjoyed the fishing and hiking trails.

What makes this setting so unique is the string of uninhabited mountain tops that can be seen from the inn's well-appointed guest rooms. The surrounding Green Mountains and Chittenden Reservoir make spectacular scenery in any season.

This fantastic property features 80 kilometers of cross-country ski and snow shoe trails, equestrian trails, rental cabins, the feeling of a real rural country vacation - a true Vermont experience.After some years of neglect and stagnation; the property was purchased by a group of investors in 2002 and the rejuvination process began in earnest.

Every room in the main building has been renovated.
