The Mountain Top Inn & Resort - Chittenden, VT		 It is always a pleasure to witness the rebirth of an historic and beautiful building, but it is downright exhilarating when that undertaking is combined with a passion for serving the public.

The historic Mountain Top Inn in beautiful Chittenden Vermont (eleven miles from Killington) was purchased recently by a group of investors headed by the affable Steve Bryant. Bryant and his wife Lauren are the new innkeepers and immediately began taking on the task of re-vitalizing this spectacular mountain top property.

The Mountain Top Inn began as a barn for the Long families turnip farm back in the 1870's. The building was converted into an inn during the 1940's and played host to President Dwight Eisenhower and his entourage during a Presidential fishing trip in 1955.

The Mountain Top Inn & Resort is being re-painted, re-fitted and updated to attract families, couples, and naturalists as a four-season destination resort. The amazing views remain unchanged but the improvements to the inn, grounds, and support staff are obvious as you first enter the property.

There are more than 60 KM of riding trails and cross-country ski trails and skeet shooting, sleigh rides, fishing, pontoon boat rides, wildlife viewing, hiking, swimming, a game room, equestrian programs, tennis courts, and dining room. serving breakfast, lunch, and diner.
The Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch and diner and is open the public by reservation. The entire family will appreciate an extended vacation at the Mountain Top Inn & Resort.
