This delightful Inn has been serving skiers, hikers, and everyone that loves the mountains since 1938. The Inn was the first lodge built in Vermont to specifically serve skiers and was originally named Deer Leap Chalet. The McGrath family took ownership in July, 1977 and have been there ever since. They have restored the Inn to its rustic splendor with hardwood floors and Adirondack furniture.
The Inn has six suites each with two rooms, real wood burning fireplaces, and private baths. Split logs stairs lead you to the cozy country bedrooms. You can even relax in a old style redwood hot tub.
Here at the Inn you will find McGrath's Irish Pub, Killington's first and foremost Irish pub. Live Irish folk music is performed on stage every weekend. Guinness is sold on draft along with the state's largest selection of Irish Whiskies.
In the winter you can be skiing in no time at all, The Inn at Long Trail is located just 5 miles from the Killington Base Lodge and only a 1/3 of a mile from the Pico Base Lodge.
During summer and fall, you can hike right out the back door of the inn and jump right on to the Long Trail. Experience a bit of Vermont Ski History by visiting the oldest original Ski Lodge in the state - The Inn at Long Trail.
