Burlington's stunning waterfront is a beautiful place for a winter festival! This annual event features a nationally-recognized snow sculpture competition, kids' games, exhibits, wagon rides, a penguin plunge in Lake Champlain for Special Olympics, a snow playground, live entertainment, and more. The Burlington Winter Festival features a variety of fun-filled events, held both indoors and out. Activities include Vermont's own sanctioned snow sculpture competition at Waterfront Park, Family Expo with activities and crafts at ECHO, entertainment at Contois featuring Young Tradition, and more. This festive weekend is produced by Burlington Parks & Recreation, presented by North Country Federal Credit Union, and sponsored by ECHO, Star 92.9. Most events are FREE!
