Vermont Colleges and Universities vary from the conservative Norwich University in Northfield, to the progressive Goddard College in Plainfield. All Vermont Colleges and Universities share the distinction of being located in Vermont's scenic and historic surroundings, which many students (and teachers) find intellectually stimulating.
The State of Vermont is a leader in environmental protection, and is the nation's top producer of U.S. Olympic skiers. Vermont is one of the most crime-free states in America, and Vermont has more colleges per capita than any other U.S. state.
